Commercial Development Alameda, CA Private developer Collaboration with Hopper Design +
Illustration The owner of the existing site and structures needed a
new building on the site that provided an improved shopping experience. The
site had previously been identified as a “key site of opportunity” in the 2011
City of Alameda Webster Street Vision Plan. Working closely with the
Department of Public Works, City of Alameda Planning Department staff and the
Planning Board this design has been developed to reflect the historic nature
of the street and fill a basic commercial need for the neighborhood. |
