Residence and Farm Conversion Whitby, UK Private developer |
|
|
“Mossbrow” was a mid 19th century working
farm and attached manor house in Whitby, England overlooking the North Sea.
The buildings were to be converted into individual living units, 12 in all,
and required pre-planning drawings for the client to assess the feasibility
of the project. The historic qualities of the exteriors were required to be
maintained while allowing the interiors to become fully modernized with
current day amenities. The conversion of traditional farm structures into
living units required careful study of the existing spaces and a strategy to
develop the buildings into marketable residences. These photographs represent the final work product
developed by the owner after the involvement of the office of Daniel Hoy,
AIA. |
